When I first received my watch I was stunned by the overall attentiveness displayed by its flawless craftsmanship. For something assembled by an independent watchmaker using parts from varied sources, you might hold a healthy amount of skepticism -- DON'T! This watch is brilliant in every sense of the word. It began running overly slow before settling in, but it's accuracy is now somewhere around -4 seconds per day. That's astonishing for such affordable clockwork.

I should note that I was NOT paid by Tisell to write this review, and it isn't without some minor complaints. First, the strap-keepers are overly large and the thickness of the leather is an undesirable trait. The luminescent paint, while good, does not compare to my Orient Flight or Seiko SNK809. What it does do, however, is cover a greater area of the dial. At night, the sight of every number and dot lit up on display is something of a marvel. It's a wondrous sight to behold.

In closing, unless you just enjoy owning something for its label that shows the origin of its manufacture, I strongly urge you to get this equally well-built (if not better-made) product from Tisell. If you dislike it, your wallet will only be marginally lighter than if you'd chosen an offering from one of the more famous watchmaking nations ::ahem:: --- I'm looking at you Switzerland.
